Senior Pastor
Pastor Barnes

Rev. Robert W. Barnes and his wife Linda are excited to have the opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ in the Northern Anne Arundel County region.  Rev. Barnes grew up in the church and made a personal decision to follow Christ when he was 15.  After graduating with a B.S. in history from Towson State University he attended Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore Kentucky.  A United Methodist pastor for 25 years, Rev. Barnes spent the past 17 years serving one church along the I-81 corridor in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.  He believes in sharing the message of the Bible with passion and scholarly integrity.

Linda Barnes graduated from Asbury College in Wilmore Kentucky and after studying a year at the Sorbonne in Paris married Bob in 1987.  Together they have two children and share a partnership in ministry as well as life.
